Accounts Payable Manager

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable leader looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing organization? We are partnering with a well-established company in the transportation and supply chain sector seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a high-volume AP operation and a team of 8-9 professionals.

What You'll Do

• Lead all aspects of the accounts payable function across multiple domestic and international entities.
• Manage and develop a team of AP professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of high-volume invoices, payments, vendor maintenance, and disbursements.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, audit compliance, and accounting policy adherence.
• Partner with Accounting, Treasury, Procurement, and Operations teams to support cash flow management and vendor relationships.
• Oversee month-end and year-end AP close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and workflow efficiencies.
• Support ERP and financial system enhancements while developing key performance metrics for the department.

What We're Looking For

✅ 7+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume, multi-entity environment

✅ 3+ years of leadership or management experience

✅ Experience supervising teams of 8+ employees

✅ Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and AP best practices

✅ Experience with ERP systems and AP automation platforms

✅ Workday experience preferred

✅ Fully bilingual in English and Spanish

✅ Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
