Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM
About the RoleJoin a supportive laboratory team where you'll perform routine testing on donor samples, analyze results, operate laboratory equipment, and help ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a career in the medical laboratory field.
Key Responsibilities- Perform laboratory testing using manual and automated methods.
- Interpret and analyze test results against established controls.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory instruments.
- Complete quality control and preventive maintenance activities.
- Document testing and maintenance activities accurately.
- Follow SOPs, cGMP requirements, and all safety regulations.
- Use laboratory information systems to track and manage samples.
- Collaborate with team members to support quality and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related science field.
- Up to 2 years of laboratory experience preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- MLT/MT certification and Tennessee licensure preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory practices and testing procedures.
- Comfortable using computers and learning laboratory information systems.
- Consistent Monday-Friday schedule with no on-call responsibilities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
