EHS Training & Compliance Coordinator
Location: Hayward, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Compensation: $30-$38/hour DOE
Job Type: Temporary Assignment Through November 2026 with Potential for Long-Term Opportunity
About the Opportunity
A growing and established organization in Hayward is seeking an experienced EHS Training & Compliance Coordinator to lead a critical training systems implementation project. This role will focus on organizing, managing, and implementing employee training programs, compliance records, certifications, and learning management systems across multiple departments.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys project-based work, training administration, compliance coordination, and working with learning management systems to drive meaningful organizational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and collect training requirements from various departments
- Build, organize, and maintain employee training programs and learning modules
- Assign required training and certifications to employees
- Track completion status, expirations, and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate training and certification records
- Work closely with HR, leadership, and department managers to obtain and verify information
- Research OSHA, safety, and compliance-related training requirements when needed
- Generate reports and ensure accurate documentation throughout the implementation process
- Support the successful completion of the project within established deadlines
- Create processes and documentation to support ongoing program maintenance
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in training coordination, LMS administration, compliance coordination, HRIS administration, or related fields
- Experience managing employee training programs and certification records
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Paycom Learning Management and Certification Management
- Experience with Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, Vector Solutions, or similar LMS platforms
- OSHA, EHS, Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or compliance experience
- Experience building training modules and managing learning content
- Experience supporting regulated or compliance-driven environments
