Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Trauma ICU team. This position provides direct, individualized nursing care to acutely and critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring, complex medication protocols, and advanced therapies in a highly technical critical-care environment.

-> Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and high-risk patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Apply the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Monitor patients and respond to changing or life-threatening conditions.
• Administer medications and manage complex treatment protocols and therapies.
• Perform invasive nursing procedures within the scope of the specialty.
• Safely operate and utilize medical equipment and technology.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Follow nursing standards, infection-control practices, patient rights, and hospital safety policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

-> Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Nevada RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of current critical-care experience.
• Minimum 2 years of recent, documented ICU RN experience within the last 3 years in a similar facility.
• BLS and ACLS required at hire.
• TNCC and ABLS required within 12 months of hire.
• Strong knowledge of critical-care nursing, pharmacology, medication administration, anatomy and physiology, disease processes, patient assessment, and nursing standards of care.
• Ability to work effectively with high-risk and critically ill patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• $43.53–$67.47/hour
• Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus
• 5% Critical Care Differential
