Job Description

This full-time, long-term position involves manufacturing and producing carpeted products for the automotive industry. We currently have openings on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. Candidates will be responsible for loading and unloading materials and assemblies into the presses, performing inspections, and producing a formed and trimmed product. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and assemblies into the presses.
• Perform inspections to ensure product quality.
• Produce formed and trimmed carpeted products.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Consistently work six days a week with 10-hour days.

Essential Skills

• Manufacturing experience.
• Inspection skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stable work history with at least 1-2 years at jobs.
• Reliable and good attendance record.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Work Environment

The company operates multiple facilities with high production shops, each equipped with stamping cells and presses. The work environment is dynamic and may be loud depending on the area. Employees will be standing at a press with a material cart to load and unload the press. Training is provided, and candidates can expect to learn multiple jobs within their first week. The company is expanding, generating over 300 jobs in the area and opening additional plants due to new contracts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lexington, MI.

The pay range for this position is $36400.00 - $37024.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
