Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $46.00–$51.00/hour, based on experience

Job Summary

Seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, maintain radiation safety standards, and provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals under physician supervision.
• Calculate and document radiation dosages.
• Perform equipment calibration and quality control.
• Maintain radiation safety and regulatory compliance.
• Process and document diagnostic studies accurately.
• Educate patients on procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain inventory and required records.
  

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program.
• NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT (N) certification required.
• State license, if applicable.
• Current BLS certification.
• Nuclear cardiology experience preferred.
• Strong patient care, communication, and documentation skills.
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and assist with equipment movement.
• Strong attention to detail and visual accuracy.
