Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Los Angeles, CA. This role supports patient access in a high-volume healthcare environment by managing registration, pre-registration, insurance verification, patient liability calculations, and front-office communication with professionalism and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
- Register and pre-register outpatient and inpatient accounts accurately and efficiently.
- Calculate and collect patient financial responsibility, including copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles.
- Communicate professionally with patients, guarantors, physicians, insurance companies, and internal staff.
- Verify and update patient demographics, insurance information, and billing details.
- Navigate multiple computer systems and screens while maintaining speed, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Follow HIPAA requirements, department policies, and supervisor instructions in all patient access activities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $26 to $27 per hour.
