School Psychologist - Littleton, Colorado

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students with significant behavioral and social-emotional needs at a specialized educational setting for grades 6-12. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through late May next year, with 37.5 hours per week serving Meridian Academy—a separate program focused on helping learners who require intensive support and have not thrived in other placements.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Active CO Department of Education SSP license with endorsement as either a School Psychologist or School Social Worker
• Prior experience supporting middle and high school students with severe behavioral challenges, such as in facility placements or day treatment settings
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs), conducting evaluations, and leading IEP meetings
• Comfortable collaborating with classroom staff, administrators, and families
• Must be able to clear district onboarding processes, including background check and fingerprinting
• Immediate availability to start is highly valued

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct mental health interventions and counseling for students with significant needs
• Participate in IEP development and implementation, including evaluations and meetings
• Consult and collaborate with program staff and families to support student progress
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing behavioral support
