\nCompany Description
Diversified Support Services is seeking a Quality Control Chemist to support daily analytical laboratory operations for our client in Birmingham, AL. This role is responsible for performing analytical testing, supporting product release, and maintaining compliance within a cGMPregulated environment. Candidates with HPLC testing, troubleshooting, or method development experience are strongly preferred, as this skill set is central to the laboratory’s workflow and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing of finished goods and cleaning validation samples to support product release.
- Identify, document, and investigate OutofSpecification (OOS) results; initiate CAPA and effectiveness checks.
- Conduct dissolution testing, build sampling schedules, and coordinate thirdparty submissions.
- Perform scheduled cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment, including UHPLC systems.
- Sample incoming raw materials and support additional QC tasks such as reviewing continuous room monitoring data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline, preferably Chemistry.
- Minimum three years of analytical laboratory experience (preferred).
- Experience working with cGMP guidelines and laboratory SOPs.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment.
- Highly preferred: HPLC method development, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting experience.
Schedule & Pay
- Starting at $26 (doe), Weekly Pay
- Monday- Friday
- Pay rate will be discussed during the interview process and aligned with experience.
