Special Education Teacher - Berwyn, IL

Two full-time contract positions are available to begin as soon as possible, both offering the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners near Berwyn, IL.

One role focuses on case management, requiring expertise in coordinating individualized education programs and facilitating communication between staff, students, and families. The other position features a traditional teaching environment with a manageable caseload of 20 students, providing direct instruction and personalized support within the classroom. Both positions work with elementary caseloads, helping students overcome challenges and celebrate successes every day.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working within elementary settings preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, faculty, and support staff
• Organizational abilities suited for case management and progress tracking
• Adaptable and enthusiastic approach to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective instructional strategies tailored to individual student goals
• Maintain accurate records, including IEPs and progress reports
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support personnel
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and provide valuable input for student success
