• Schedule: Monday–Friday | No nights or weekends

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our fast-paced brain and mental health clinic. The ideal candidate is efficient, organized, compassionate, and comfortable working with both children and adults in a high-volume environment.

This role focuses primarily on brain SPECT imaging, patient preparation and dosing, nuclear medicine quality control, and hot lab operations.

-> Key Responsibilities

• Perform brain SPECT scans and related imaging protocols.
• Prepare patients for IV procedures and administer nuclear medicine doses.
• Prepare and manage patient doses and isotopes.
• Process and print scan images before the end of the workday.
• Perform daily camera and hot lab quality control (QC).
• Complete daily constancy tests, surveys, weekly wipe tests, and required source testing.
• Perform required dose calibrator testing, including linearity, geometry, and accuracy testing.
• Maintain Odyssey hard drive, logbooks, and required regulatory documentation.
• Order appropriate isotope vials in advance of scheduled scans.
• Maintain hot lab and medical supply inventory.
• Follow all applicable nuclear medicine safety and quality procedures.
• Provide compassionate care and communicate effectively with patients and families.

• Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in the applicable state.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic.
• Comfortable working with challenging patients, including children and adults.
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine commitment to patient care and safety.

Preferred

• Experience with brain imaging / brain SPECT.
• Familiarity with Picker Prism 3000 system.
• Previous experience in a high-volume outpatient nuclear medicine setting.

• Frequent computer use, typing, and viewing screens.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach.
• Ability to lift objects up to 15 lbs.
