Accounting Specialist

We are partnering with a growing organization seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their accounting expertise while gaining exposure to multiple areas of the accounting function in a collaborative and supportive environment.

What You'll Do:

· Apply customer payments and maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records

· Process vendor invoices and support Accounts Payable activities

· Calculate and process contractor payments

· Research and resolve payment discrepancies and accounting issues

· Prepare and post journal entries, including payroll-related entries

· Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate variances

· Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

· Generate financial and accounting reports as needed

· Collaborate with internal departments, clients, and vendors

· Cross-train within the accounting team and provide backup support when needed

What We're Looking For:

· 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

· Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, and general accounting functions

· Strong Excel skills and attention to detail

· Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

· Accounting degree preferred

· Experience with ERP systems

Pay Details: $25.00 to $31.00 per hour
