Job Description
Make a difference in the lives of young learners by supporting the needs of TK-2nd grade students with moderate to severe disabilities. This full-time, contract role runs through June 2027 and is based near Chula Vista, CA. You’ll work closely with an experienced team to implement individualized education plans and provide the guidance these students need to reach their full potential.

Qualifications:
- Valid CA Education Specialist Credential with authorization for moderate/severe disabilities (must be current)
- Previous experience working with TK-2nd grade or early childhood preferred
- Deep understanding of IEP development, compliance, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Strong classroom management capabilities
- Familiarity with adaptive teaching strategies and assistive technology
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and interventions for students in TK-2 with moderate/severe disabilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor student IEPs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Adapt materials and instructional approaches to meet diverse student needs
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom community
