Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver - No Experience Required

New CDL-A holders get a running start on this Family Dollar account out of St. George, UT. You'll ride alongside an experienced driver, log real miles, and build the experience you need on dedicated freight.

Lane Details:

• No CDL-A driving experience required. New CDL-A holders are paired with an experienced driver to learn the account.

• Dedicated Family Dollar account hauling all dry freight

• Deliver to stores throughout Nevada, California, Arizona, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming

• Drivers average 1,700 miles, 2 loads per week, and 3 stops per load

• Occasional backhauls picked up on the way back to the DC

• Unload the trailer using rollers. Ground-level unloading requires climbing in and out of the trailer as needed, a great fit for drivers who want to stay active

• Start time is 6:00 AM, with shifts running up to 14 hours

• Home Time: Weekly 34-hour reset; days off vary based on freight demand

• Company-provided tandem-axle sleeper trucks pulling 53-ft dry van trailers, top-of-the-line automatic transmissions

Driver Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL

• 21 years of age or older

• No prior driving experience required. This fleet is designed to help new CDL-A holders get started
