CDL A Truck Driver

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CDL A Truck Driver role based in Rathdrum, ID. The CDL A Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting Sod and other materials from our facility to customer locations, following all traffic laws and company safety policies. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and unloading sod pallets, maintaining accurate delivery documentation, and communicating with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delivery details. The driver will also assist with basic vehicle care, report mechanical issues promptly, and support loading operations as needed to ensure efficient, on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations.

• Experience operating commercial trucks, including backing, maneuvering, and securing loads.

• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic troubleshooting of minor issues.
\n
• Strong time management, reliability, and attention to safety and compliance.
\n
• Ability to lift, move, and handle sod pallets and related materials as required.
\n
• Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, customers, and team members.
\n
• High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in trucking, agriculture, or construction delivery is a plus.

• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and follow all company policies.
