What You'll Do

As a CFY Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students in a school-based setting

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assist with developing appropriate treatment plans

• Provide individual and/or small-group therapy based on student needs

• Monitor student progress and modify treatment approaches as appropriate

• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams

• Work closely with teachers, special education staff, families, and other school professionals

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Apply evidence-based practices to support students' communication and academic success

• Develop positive relationships with students and become an active member of the school community

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic about beginning their career and passionate about helping students communicate, learn, and participate more successfully.

Qualified candidates will:

• Be graduating from or have graduated from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology master's program

• Be eligible to begin a Clinical Fellowship Year

• Meet applicable California licensing and credentialing requirements

• Have a strong interest in working with children and adolescents

• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Be organized, dependable, and eager to learn

• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Be committed to providing high-quality, student-centered services
