Industrial Engineer 
Pay Rate: $29.00-30.00 DOE
Hours:  M-Th 5am-3:30pm

Key Personnel is seeking motivated, detail-oriented, and safety-focused Industrial Engineers to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will assist in the analysis, design, and implementation of processes to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and workplace safety within our manufacturing facility. This position requires someone who understands that safety is a critical part of every process improvement and operational decision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Conduct time studies and analyze production data to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design layouts for production areas and optimize workflow while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Support the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance, maintain quality standards, and promote safe work practices.
  • Monitor production metrics, collect data, and help prepare performance reports for management review.
  • Participate in root cause analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and safety-related corrective actions.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of new equipment, tools, or technologies with consideration for employee safety, ergonomics, and risk reduction.
  • Identify potential safety hazards and recommend engineering or process improvements to reduce workplace risks.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all engineering projects and process changes comply with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide support in training staff on new processes, tools, systems, and safe work practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to recognize and address potential safety concerns.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with CAD software or simulation tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and priorities.
  • A keen interest in manufacturing processes, workplace safety, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Internship experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Exposure to manufacturing safety practices, ergonomics, risk assessments, or OSHA standards is a plus.

By participating in this role, you will gain hands-on experience in the implementation of tasks in Environmental manufacturing ,audits and state regulations.
