Responsibilities of Physical Therapist:

• Evaluate and ensure the patient’s plan of care.

• Oversees Physical Therapy Assistants providing guidance, discussing progress, and monitoring clinical interventions/skills.

• Provides skilled services and interventions using various techniques needed to achieve patients’ goals.

• Follows all regulations and guidelines of the facility including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA.

• Adheres to discussed scheduled hours.

• Provides skilled documentation of patient’s condition, and provides caregiver/patient education, progress, and need for services.

• Ensures safe treatment practices and monitors patients’ engagement and responses to treatment and modify as necessary.

Requirements for Physical Therapist:

• Valid Physical Therapy license

• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program
