PMHNP - Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Outpatient

Korzen Health is actively searching for an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with child and adolescent expertise to join our team as an embedded behavioral health provider within a busy pediatric practice in Fort Payne, Alabama.

This is a part-time, outpatient-only opportunity featuring a 3-day-per-week schedule with 8-hour workdays. Please note: Applicants must have experience treating children and adolescents, and hold an active DEA registration by start date.

Key Duties

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and ongoing follow-up appointments for children and adolescents
• Handle medication management and continuous behavioral health care
• Create customized behavioral health treatment plans for young patients and their families
• Administer evidence-based outpatient psychiatric treatments
• Work in tandem with pediatric providers and support staff to maximize patient success
• Keep clinical records accurate, timely, and fully compliant

Required Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited PMHNP program
• Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Experience treating children and adolescents required
• Current or eligible Alabama APRN license
• Valid DEA registration required by start date
• Excellent communication and collaborative care skills
