Korzen Health is actively searching for an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with child and adolescent expertise to join our team as an embedded behavioral health provider within a busy pediatric practice in Fort Payne, Alabama.
This is a part-time, outpatient-only opportunity featuring a 3-day-per-week schedule with 8-hour workdays. Enjoy the unique experience of practicing within an established pediatric clinic, collaborating closely with pediatricians to deliver comprehensive mental health care for children and adolescents, fully backed by a robust administrative framework and collaborative physician support. Please note: Applicants must have experience treating children and adolescents, and hold an active DEA registration by start date.

Key Duties
- Perform psychiatric evaluations and ongoing follow-up appointments for children and adolescents
- Handle medication management and continuous behavioral health care
- Create customized behavioral health treatment plans for young patients and their families
- Administer evidence-based outpatient psychiatric treatments
- Work in tandem with pediatric providers and support staff to maximize patient success
- Keep clinical records accurate, timely, and fully compliant

Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited PMHNP program
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Experience treating children and adolescents required
- Current or eligible Alabama APRN license
- Valid DEA registration required by start date
- Excellent communication and collaborative care skills
