Looking for meaningful work that makes a real difference? MAS Community Health is hiring caring, motivated individuals to support children and young adults (ages 1–21) facing behavioral health challenges in Penobscot County and the surrounding area. No certification? No problem — we'll train you to become an excellent BHP.
Requirements:
- An active BHP Certification is not required!
- 1 year of experience working with children is a plus. (I.e. education, childcare, babysitting/nannying, etc.)
- Interest in a career in early childhood education, social work, or psychology
- Flexibility to work some afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Clean driving record and background check
- Ability to provide active motor vehicle insurance & registration
- Ability to provide high school diploma or equivalent
Job Details:
- Providing individualized support within the clients' personal home and surrounding community.
- Safely transporting the client within your own personal, reliable vehicle.
- Following the client’s treatment plan outlined and created by the client’s family and the case management team.
- Basic understanding of smart phone applications, access to email communication, and awareness around processing electronic documents such as daily session notes. Training is available.
