LPN/RN

 We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric healthcare team in downtown Plattsburgh. As an LPN at Plattsburgh Primary Care Pediatrics, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting in the overall management of patient needs. Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, including injections, as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with patient assessments and provide basic medical care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform routine laboratory tests and collect samples for medical testing
- Assist with medical procedures.
- Educate patients and their families on various health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting as an LPN
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in administering medications, including injections
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures
- Experience in acute care settings and triage is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Pay: $26-$28 per hour
