Position Summary: The overall purpose of the administrator position is to assure the provision of the best available quality of care for facility residents. Incumbents plan, develop, direct, and control facility operations within the bounds of established policies, procedures, programs, and budgets.

Qualifications:

• A current, valid state nursing home administrator license is required.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable state/federal regulations regarding nursing home operations is necessary.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Position Highlights Monitor nursing center financial reports and implements corrective action as required
• Lead, guide and direct the nursing center department heads who are direct reports
• Promote and represent the nursing center in the community to ensure favorable public relations
• Create an environment where employees are highly engaged and are focused on providing the highest level of care and compassion to patients/residents
• Ensure regulatory and policy compliance within the nursing center
