Job Description
Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing nursing team in Trenton, New Jersey.
As a CNA, you will provide essential, hands-on care under the direction of our licensed nursing staff while helping residents maintain their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence.
Available SchedulesFull-time, part-time, and per diem positions are available for the following shifts:
7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
$18.13–$24.13 per hour, depending on schedule, experience, and benefit selection. Sign on Bonus $1,500
An unbenefited position is available for employees who prefer the highest hourly rate.
QualificationsCurrent and valid New Jersey CNA certification
Previous long-term care or healthcare experience preferred
Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to assist residents safely with mobility and personal care
Dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts
Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
Ability to meet all applicable background and health requirements
Responsibilities may include:
Providing direct care and assisting residents with activities of daily living
Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
Supporting residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and restorative exercise programs
Measuring and recording vital signs, weights, and other health indicators
Observing residents’ physical and emotional conditions and promptly reporting concerns to nursing supervisors
Assisting residents with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed
Responding promptly to call lights and urgent resident needs
Maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe resident environment
Making beds and changing linens
Assisting with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
Accurately documenting care in residents’ medical records
Communicating respectfully and effectively with residents, families, and other members of the care team
