Job Description
The Opportunity

This role sits in a more medically focused rehab environment than a typical outpatient clinic — working alongside a broader clinical team on a higher-acuity patient population, with direct hire status and relocation paid for candidates coming from outside the area.

It's a full-time, day-shift position with no overnight shifts, based in Ithaca, in the heart of the Finger Lakes.

Why This Opportunity Is Worth a Look

Compensation: $70,000-$100,000 base salary, based on experience, plus additional pay for relevant certifications.

Schedule: Full-time, day shift only — no overnights.

Setting: A clinic-based role within a premier health organization, collaborating with a supportive, multidisciplinary physical therapy team.

Relocation: Fully paid relocation assistance for candidates moving to the area.

Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; generous PTO and holidays; a retirement plan with employer contribution; tuition assistance and continuing education support; and employee wellness programs.

Location: Ithaca sits in the Finger Lakes region, home to Cornell University and Ithaca College, with lake and waterfall scenery, hiking trails, and a well-regarded arts and dining scene.

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team on comprehensive, patient-centered treatment
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as patients advance toward their goals
  • Documenting evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries per department standards
What We're Looking For
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
  • Active or eligible-for PT licensure in New York at time of hire
  • BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
  • Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. independently and up to 150 lbs. with assistance; frequent standing, walking, bending, and patient handling required
