CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Procurement Buyer II.

Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Education: Preferred Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, Supply Chain, Business, Construction Management, or a related field. Will accept no degree with applicable experience 10+ years.

Description

Procurement Buyer II responsible for strategic sourcing, procurement, RFP/RFQ management, contract administration, supplier management, negotiations, and capital project procurement.

Requirements

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and procurement strategies
• Manage RFPs, RFQs, bids, supplier selection, and negotiations
• Manage contracts, SOWs, WBS, schedules, costs, risks, and supplier performance
• Apply Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and procurement best practices
• Support capital projects and project procurement management
• Manage supplier relationships and contractual compliance

Qualifications

• 7+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, capital sourcing, or contract administration experience
• Experience with capital projects, contract management, sourcing, and supplier management
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement, Coupa, or similar experience preferred
• CPSM, PMP, or CSCP certification preferred
