Location: Denton, TX
Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday–Friday

A day in this role

You arrive on the production floor, review the latest build packets, and pull the components for the morning’s sub-assembly. Using drawings and SOPs, you torque fasteners to spec, route wiring cleanly, and verify fits before moving to electrical checks. With a multimeter in hand, you run voltage tests, capture data, and flag any deviations. When an anomaly appears, you troubleshoot—mechanical first, electrical next—then record your findings and partner with engineering to prevent recurrence. By day’s end, your work area is spotless, your documentation is complete, and another high-quality unit is ready for shipment.

What you’ll tackle

• Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and full systems per engineering drawings and work instructions
• Execute voltage testing and QA/QC inspections on completed builds
• Confirm products meet specifications and quality standards before release
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque equipment, and precision measuring instruments
• Record test data and inspection results with accuracy and clarity
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues during build and test
• Keep the work cell clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing
• Background in QA/QC inspection or testing
• Exposure to high-voltage or electrical testing environments
• Ability to interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and SOPs
• Comfortable with hand and power tools
• Exceptional attention to detail, quality, and safety
• Capable of standing, lifting, and working on the production floor

Preferred (not required)

• Experience in electronics, electrical assembly, or power systems
• IPC or similar industry certifications
• Basic computer/data entry skills
