Pipe Layers

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Pipe Layers to join a construction team in Newport News, VA. As a Pipe Layer, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of various piping systems. • Excavate trenches and prepare sites for pipe installation.
• Lay and install pipes according to specifications and blueprints.
• Ensure proper alignment and grade of pipes for optimal flow.
• Connect pipes to water mains, sewer systems, and other utilities.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on installed piping systems.
• Collaborate with team members and other trades to ensure project efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
• Previous experience in pipe laying or related construction work preferred.
• Knowledge of various piping materials and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
