1st Shift Forklift Operator (Receiving)

We are looking for an Enthusiast 1st Shift Forklift Operator.

Starting pay is $17.49 with hourly pay progressions.

Summary of Job Duties

• Sorting and building product to pallets to ensure compliance with customer expectations.
• Use of machinery to apply shrink wrap to pallets. 
• Perform a pre- and post-equipment checklist.
• Perform other distribution work functions as needed due to business volume and need.
• Frequently mounting/dismounting forklifts, lifting up to 50lbs, and standing/walking on hard surfaces for long periods.
• Efficiently move goods between trucks/trailers and the loading dock using forklifts, pallet jacks or manually unloading.
• Scan, weigh, and track inventory. Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Organize freight in designated staging areas, ensuring clear pathways and a clean work environment.
• Using handheld scanners to scan, track, and log inbound/outbound shipments to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Interacting with truck drivers and warehouse staff to coordinate efficient, timely, and safe shipping

Work Experience

• Basic experience using window-based applications, which is required to use the R/F scanner. 
• Ability to operate powered basic material handling equipment, i.e., electric pallet jack, forklift, order picker etc.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and flexibility in meeting deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service driven.
• Strong team player.

Summary of Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Able to lift 40 lb. and on an occasional basis.
• Must be able to work overtime; including weekends
