Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist position in a high-acuity acute care setting. This role involves operating specialized equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic and interventional images, including advanced procedures such as vascular angiograms, biopsies, drainages, embolizations, and central line placements. The position requires working at two hospitals in Fargo, with a schedule of 8 to 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday and on-call responsibilities.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, starting from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with call every 3-4 weekends and up to three weekday call shifts.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA); Minimum Experience: 1 year in an Interventional Radiology setting; Education: Radiologic Technology degree or equivalent; Location Requirements: Candidates must be willing to work at both hospitals in Fargo; Years of Experience: minimum 1 year.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in vascular angiography, biopsies, drainages, embolizations, and interventional procedures; ability to float between facilities.
  • Additional Information:
    • Two-week orientation with possible reduction based on prior verified experience.
    • Must send fingerprint background checks to the NDMIRT licensing board, not directly to BCI.
    • Responsible for patient safety, radiation protection, and adherence to infection control policies.
    • Knowledge of billing, coding, and pharmacology preferred.
    • Responsible for maintaining accurate documentation using EPIC charting, PACS, Radiant, and Cupid systems.
    • Team includes one provider, one nurse, and one scrub radiologic technologist.
