Cardiovascular Technologist Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures and ensuring patient safety through the use of advanced imaging technologies.
Work Schedule- Day shift, Monday through Friday
- 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
- On-call required (6-7 days a month, including one weekend per month)
- Assist in performing catheterization and special procedures.
- Utilize fluoroscopy and other imaging techniques effectively.
- Ensure safety protocols are adhered to during all procedures.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after procedures.
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent is preferred.
- 1-2 years of Cath Lab experience required.
- Active Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice is required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is preferred.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
