Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional therapy services while adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. This role includes evaluating patients, creating and updating treatment and discharge plans, and delivering therapy aimed at enhancing independence in daily living skills.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with physician orders and referrals.
- Develop and regularly update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) according to practice acts and facility policies.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams and families to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD).
- Active state OT license or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong clinical skills, with a focus on documentation and effective communication.
