Overview
The Wireless Module Engineer will drive the development of wireless modules from early architecture definition through mass-production ramp. This role requires strong RF fundamentals, organization skills, and the ability to collaborate to understand risks and drive proper courses of action.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive configs definition, track hardware changes, coordinate builds, and manage associated POs.
- Work with cross-functional teams and external partners (including international teams) to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
- Track issues, identify root cause, and drive resolution.
- Analyze electrical build data, identify issues, and drive corrections.
- Work with cross-functional teams and external test partners to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Understanding of RF fundamentals and wireless technologies.
- Program management experience.
- Proven problem-solving and system optimization skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally.
- 2 or more years of wireless module development experience from early concept to MP for consumer electronic devices.
- Additional experience in packaging, product engineering, ATE, and reliability engineering is highly desirable.
- Experienced in managing vendor teams and leading cross-time-zone meetings.
- Very good communication skills, verbal and written.
- Familiarity with wireless module manufacturing flows.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret test data and drive corrective actions.
- Experience in setting up project schedules and work breakdown structures while communicating risks with prioritization.
