An established skilled nursing center in Cape May County, NJ is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Admissions to join its team!

The Director of Admissions will play an important role in managing the admissions process, developing strong referral relationships, and helping provide a smooth transition for residents and their families. We are looking for someone who is personable, organized, responsive, and understands the fast-paced environment of long-term care.

• Manage and coordinate the admissions process from referral through admission

• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, case managers, social workers, and other referral sources

• Communicate with prospective residents and families throughout the admissions process

• Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to coordinate incoming admissions

• Assist with census development and identify opportunities for growth

• Ensure timely follow-up on referrals and maintain accurate admissions documentation

• Previous Long-Term Care experience required

• Previous experience as a Director of Admissions preferred

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Knowledge of admissions processes, insurance verification, and census development

• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, referral sources, residents, and families

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
