Cashier-Food Prep-(Part-Time)

The Cashier/Food Prep position is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while supporting food preparation and daily restaurant operations. This role greets customers, communicates menu items and specials, takes and prepares orders, serves food and beverages, processes payments, and maintains the dining and service areas. Employees are expected to uphold Laguna Development Corporation’s core values by providing friendly, efficient service, maintaining food quality standards, following food safety and sanitation guidelines, operating the point-of-sale system accurately, stocking and rotating products, promoting sales, and building positive relationships with guests through professional and personalized interactions.

Successful candidates must be dependable, work well independently and as part of a team, and maintain a positive, respectful attitude toward customers and coworkers. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, experience in a fast-food environment, cash-handling experience, and basic math skills. The position requires operating restaurant equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and performing physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive hand movements. Employees must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, obtain and maintain a ServSafe Certification within 90 days of employment, and be available to work in a fast-paced indoor restaurant environment while assisting with additional duties as assigned.
