Evans is hiring a Program Analyst to support a large-scale FAA air traffic modernization program. This role maintains the program’s consolidated record of actions, decisions, risks, and issues, and analyzes dependencies across seven parallel workstreams. We are seeking someone precise with detail, comfortable with technical subject matter, and able to keep a complex record accurate while the program moves quickly.


Location Details: This role is mostly remote with occasional on-site requirements at the FAA Headquarters in Washington D.C 

  • Maintain the consolidated action log as the program’s reference record for program managers and the Director.
  • Maintain the decision, risk, and issue registers, including the disposition and ownership assigned to each entry.
  • Document and track action items across program workstreams and liaise with program leads so critical issues are identified, escalated, and managed appropriately.
  • Analyze dependencies and integration points across seven parallel workstreams and surface conflicts and gaps for leadership decision.
  • Support planning activities, including workstream planning boards and readiness against program commitments.
  • Collect and analyze program data to support management decisions and follow-through.
  • Prepare reports and visualizations of program status for executive review.
  • Produce minutes for the recurring workstream leads meeting.
  • Produce structured capture of technical working sessions and route the resulting actions, decisions, risks, and impacts into the appropriate register.
  • Document processes and develop templates and visual and text-based materials.
  • Identify impediments to program progress and recommend improvement strategies.
  • Coordinate with government and industry participants to confirm status and gather input for the program record.
Requirements:

  

  • A Bachelor’s Degree plus at least 10 years of experience is required. A Master’s Degree plus 7 years of experience may substitute.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required, including large multi-tab workbooks, structured data, filtering, and conditional formatting.
  • Proven experience maintaining program-level tracking of actions, decisions, and risks in a government program environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze dependencies across parallel efforts and surface conflicts before they affect program commitments.
  • Some technical fluency is required. Prior support to infrastructure, systems, or IT modernization programs is preferred.
  • Prior FAA experience is desired.
  • Experience documenting technical meetings and turning discussion into an accurate written record.
  • Precision with detail and the discipline to keep a record of authority current and internally consistent.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams. Familiarity with Confluence is a nice to have.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain FAA public trust suitability.

Compensation 

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $95,000 to $120,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Evans's total compensation package for employees.
