Pulse Vascular is seeking a Per Diem RN for our Vineland, NJ office location.

 

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of pre and post-procedure patient needs.
  • Demonstrates a "can-do" attitude, initiative, and adaptability to change.
  • Maintains a neat, professional appearance and can handle stressful situations effectively.
  • Holds current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of New Jersey.
  • Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
  • Possesses a minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience. ICU and/or ER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Holds current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Must commit to two shifts per month


Basic Function and Responsibility:

  • Creates a positive patient care environment by evaluating, planning, and implementing effective care plans and communication with patients and families.
  • Acts as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
  • Makes sound decisions in response to changes in patient condition or treatment response while maintaining composure.
  • Utilizes Electronic Health Record systems to document patient care accurately.
  • Coordinates effectively with physicians and team members regarding changes in patient status and diagnostic results.
  • Provides individualized, age-appropriate, safe, and quality patient care throughout all phases of procedures.
  • Serves as a resource and collaborates with the team to promote optimum patient care outcomes.
  • Assumes accountability for daily clinical operations, including caring for preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patients.
  • Administers sedation and analgesia and monitors patients as appropriate.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintains nursing operations by enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Completes patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff and following up on work results.
  • Provides information to patients and the healthcare team by addressing questions and requests.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by implementing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Safeguards patient confidentiality and protects operations by monitoring confidential information processing.
  • Maintains documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and clinic records.
  • Manages nursing supplies inventory by studying usage reports and identifying trends.
  • Fosters a cooperative relationship among the healthcare team by communicating information and responding to requests.

 

General Guidelines for all Clinical and Administrative Personnel:

  • Familiarizes self and adheres to AAAASF Guidelines and internal care delivery policies.
  • Leads by example and ensures patient and family involvement in care.
  • Ensures proper procedures are followed for reporting patient and staff injuries.
  • Implements all aspects of the Infection Control Policy as applicable.
  • Possesses effective communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork.
  • Provides a customer-oriented environment for patients, families, and other customers.
  • Demonstrates strong time management skills and adheres to patient and staff rights and responsibilities.
  • Practices within the basic scope of practice for the position.
  • Ensures a safe environment for patients, families, and staff, identifying health and safety risks and taking appropriate steps to alleviate them.
  • Assists in the orientation of new personnel as assigned.
  • Recognizes signs of abuse and neglect and takes appropriate actions.
  • Assesses patient learning needs and documents education teaching per policy.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of patient advocacy, maintaining confidentiality, and attending required training sessions.
  • Participates in all applicable meetings and integrates and coordinates care across settings and disciplines.
  • Describes safety plans and understands emergency preparedness protocols.

 

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

 

License/Certification:


  • BLS & ACLS Certifications (Required)
  • RN (Required)
