Black River Health is seeking a Full-Time Retail Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the Krohn Clinic campus. This position is:
- Full-Time; 80 hours per pay period, Day Shift Monday – Friday with every third Saturday rotation, Benefited

As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will:
Essential Duties:
- Delivers exceptional customer service by anticipating needs and maintaining a positive, professional demeanor.
- Enters customer and prescription information accurately into the pharmacy management system
- Prepares, labels, and packages medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Processes prescription refills, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Respond to routine questions related to medications, insurance, and billing; escalate complex inquiries as appropriate.
Educational Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Registered as a pharmacy technician with the state board of pharmacy, required within 6 months of hire
- National pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board; required within one year of hire
- Minimum of one year of retail or outpatient pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and related technologies
