CASHIER

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers entering the establishment, indoors and outdoors even during inclement weather.
2. Explain services offered by company, provide pricing information, upsell the customer to a higher tier product or service.
3. Process payments accurately using cash registers or electronic scanners/tablets.
4. Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area.
5. Ensure customer satisfaction by answering questions, resolving complaints, and assisting with exchanges or returns.
6. Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision.
7. Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accurate amounts.
8. Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring product levels.
9. Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, and exchanges.
10. Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent customer service.
11. Adhere to all safety and security procedures to prevent theft and loss.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
4. Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
5. Attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
