Infection Preventionist-LPN Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Associate Degree in Nursing required

• Current, unencumbered New Jersey LPN license

• Infection Preventionist Certification required

• At least 1 year of long-term care/skilled nursing experience as an Infection Preventionist

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice

• Recognize changes in residents' conditions and intervene appropriately

• Prioritize nursing actions based on resident needs, acuity, and desired outcomes

• Implement physician orders accurately and within appropriate time frames

• Educate and counsel residents and their families regarding wound care processes and related concerns

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator

Schedule Requirement:

• One weekend per month required
