Contract: Full-Time

Compensation: $56,607.00 – $74,348.00

(Base starting rate includes referendums, supplements, and bonuses based on experience/degree)

About the Role

BridgePrep Academy Miami Gardens is seeking a dual-impact ESE Coordinator & ESOL Teacher. This hybrid position combines targeted language instruction for Multilingual Learners with campus-wide Special Education (ESE) compliance leadership.

This role includes two extra weeks outside the regular academic calendar dedicated to ESE compliance setup, caseload reviews, and audit prep.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching: Deliver small-group and individualized instruction to ESE and ESOL students; implement required accommodations and language scaffolds (WIDA/ACCESS aligned).

• Compliance & Leadership: Manage IEP timelines, reevaluations, file audits, and service minute tracking to maintain 100% state and federal compliance.

• Coordination: Partner with general education teachers, related service providers (Speech, OT, etc.), and parents to support student progress.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.

• Certifications: Valid/eligible Florida Teaching Certificate with ESE Certification and ESOL Certification/Endorsement.

• Clearance: Level 2 Florida Care Provider Background Screening required.

• References: Must provide 3 professional references (including 1 former manager).
