CT Technologist Schedule
This position requires 12-hour shifts, with varied times for day (7-7, 8-8, 9-9) or night shifts (7p-7a).
Job DescriptionThe CT Technologist will perform imaging studies involving CT scans of the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities, as well as biopsy procedures. This position is fast-paced and requires multitasking skills, with an average of 65 scans per day across two CT rooms. The technologist will work closely with the imaging team and may receive training for specific procedures if necessary.
Responsibilities- Perform CT imaging studies and assist in biopsies as required.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a safe and effective imaging environment.
- Initiate and start IVs as necessary for contrast administration.
- Collaborate with nursing staff for the administration of premeds and patient care.
- Current BLS certification.
- WV X-Ray License and WV CARES certification required prior to start.
- Preferred ARRT (CT) certification or a minimum of 3-5 years of CT experience.
- Must have IV experience.
