Service Area

Clinical services are provided throughout Upper and Mid-Cape Cod, including:

  • Yarmouth
  • Barnstable
  • Mashpee
  • Sandwich
  • Falmouth

Occasional travel to Plymouth may be required.

Schedule

Part-Time Position (20 Hours Per Week)

  • Afternoon and evening availability required
  • Typical direct service hours: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Additional daytime hours available for:
    • Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
    • Treatment planning
    • Team meetings
    • Clinical documentation
    • Staff training
    • Professional development

This role offers excellent flexibility for professionals seeking supplemental clinical hours.

Key Responsibilities

As a BCaBA, you will:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and related behavioral evaluations
  • Analyze behavioral, clinical, and quality-of-life data
  • Develop and monitor Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)
  • Provide direct behavioral consultation and support services
  • Deliver individualized and small-group behavior intervention services
  • Complete assessment reports, treatment recommendations, and clinical documentation
  • Train and coach Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on evidence-based behavioral interventions
  • Monitor treatment integrity and behavior plan implementation
  • Conduct program reviews and behavioral consultations
  • Collaborate with families, guardians, nurses, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Participate in ISP meetings, clinical reviews, and treatment planning discussions
  • Support agency-wide Positive Behavior Supports initiatives and best practices

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in:
    • Behavior Analysis
    • Psychology
    • Special Education
    • Human Services
    • Related field
  • Current and active BCaBA Certification
  • Experience implementing behavior support strategies and ABA principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation

Preferred

  • Experience supporting adults with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • Experience conducting FBAs and developing behavior support plans
  • Experience in residential, shared living, community-based, or human services settings
