Commercial Real Estate Controller

The job description is as follows:

• Handles property purchases and sales, books all closing entries in Rent Manager
• Main point of contact with banks and title companies related to property purchases and sales
• Full cycle A/R. This includes following up on tenant payments for 50-60 properties and approx 200 tenants.
• Fully cycle A/P. Coding and ensuring items are captured correctly regarding recoverable and non recoverable.
• The ability to understand and book complex journal entries as needed for closings / deals.
• Closing the books for all entities bi-annually in Rent Manager.

The best candidate will possess the following:

• 4 to 7 years Commercial Real Estate experience a must
• BS in Accounting
• Good attitude, can work well with others
• Customer service type personality / nature
• Rent Manager a huge plus
