National Account Manager – Branded & Private Label

Location: Springdale, AR

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced National Account Manager to manage and grow branded and private-label business within the consumer products industry. This position will work with major national retail customers and will be responsible for account management, sales growth, profitability, and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow revenue, volume, and profitability across assigned national accounts
• Develop and maintain relationships with buyers, category managers, and retail teams
• Develop annual business plans and sales strategies
• Manage branded and private-label programs
• Coordinate with internal teams to support forecasting, inventory, and product availability
• Negotiate pricing, promotions, and customer terms
• Analyze sales, market, and customer data to identify business opportunities
• Support new product launches, line reviews, and customer presentations
• Manage promotional spending and evaluate results
• Monitor market conditions, competitive activity, and category trends

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dry CPG or consumer products sales experience
• Experience managing large national retail accounts required
• Experience with dry branded and private-label products
• Experience within grocery, food, or related consumer product categories
• Proficient Excel knowledge including pivot tables, graphs and pie charts required
• Experience utilizing POS and syndicated data such as Nielsen, Retail Link, Scintilla, IRI, Circana required
• Strong analytical and business planning skills
• Experience working with customer and retail sales data
• Proven ability to develop and execute customer business plans
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required
• Minimal travel required
