Position Description: The Sprinter Technician is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans and similar commercial vehicles. The technician performs preventive maintenance, electrical and mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and inspections while ensuring vehicles are returned to customers in safe and reliable operating condition.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Sprinter vans
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle problems
- Use diagnostic scan tools and manufacturer service information to identify faults.
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, cooling, and exhaust system repairs.
- Service engines, transmissions, drivetrains, and fuel systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical wiring, sensors, modules, and charging systems.
- Perform oil changes, fluid services, filter replacement, and other preventive maintenance.
- Inspect vehicles for safety and regulatory compliance.
- Read and interpret repair orders, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Document diagnostic findings, repairs, parts, and labor accurately.
- Test-drive vehicles when appropriate to verify repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow shop safety procedures.
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations to service advisors or customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License required
- State and Emissions license preferred
- Must be familiar with Sprinter or commercial vehicle repairs and maintenance
