General Warehouse Associate

We are a Tempe based Safety & Promotional Marketing Company located just west of Downtown Tempe and ASU! We are an exciting, fast-paced company and we are expanding fast!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Sportex Apparel is looking for a Warehouse Associate. With full-time availability in the afternoon schedule 11AM to 7:30PM. We are a well-established one-stop shop meeting the needs of our customers in multiple avenues. Daily outlook includes but not limited to splitting shift times between receiving, shipping and inventory duties as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Warehouse operations include shipping, receiving, inventory, production heat pressing
• Assist in warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain a professional relationship with any vendor communication
• Shipping duties include but not limited to matching orders, packaging orders, creating freight shipments, generating freight, air cargo, international and domestic shipments.
• Receiving duties include but not limited to intake of shipments through UPS, FedEx and freight companies. Unpacking product, ensuring quantities, colors and sizes are correct.
• Inventory duties include but not limited to updating spreadsheets, pulling items from inventory, adding items into inventory, organizing and recounting inventory as needed.

Warehouse Associate Qualifications / Skills:

• Great communication skills
• Ability to learn processes and systems quickly
• Microsoft office experience
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk throughout entire shift
• Ability to efficiently execute on management directive
• Occasional Saturday schedule availability
• Positive attitude

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year in related experience preferred
