Coating Technician

The Coating Technician is responsible for applying protective coatings with precision and care, primarily focusing on automotive paint correction and protective coatings for automotive, residential, and commercial projects. Working as an individual contributor within a small technical team, this role requires thorough surface preparation, detailed quality inspections, documentation, and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure high-quality finishes and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces through cleaning and treatment before coating application
• Apply protective coatings using standard spray guns and hand application tools
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure coating integrity and finish quality
• Maintain detailed documentation of coating procedures and results
• Perform basic cleaning and preventive maintenance on coating equipment
• Collaborate within a small technical team while managing tasks independently
• Perform automotive paint correction as required
