Description

Leading company in the chemicals industry, is seeking a qualified Wastewater

Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of professionals collaborating to mix creative thinking with combined experiences to provide the best possible outcome for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot wastewater treatment processes and related

equipment.

• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance activities.

• Monitor and adjust plant processes as required to ensure safe and efficient

operation of the system.

• Gather and examine in-process wastewater samples to help optimize plant

operations.

• Prepare and submit various wastewater treatment operations reports

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of plant operations.

• Ensure plant operations are done in a manner that they are compliant with all

relevant regulations and permits.

Skills

• Proficient in basic math for calculations related to chemical dosing and flow rates.

• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively.

• Ability to collect data accurately and analyze results for decision-making purposes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Mechanically Inclined

• Ability to read, interpret and understand manuals and process drawings.

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

• Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
