Palletizer

PrideStaff is seeking four Palletizer Associates for its Client in Greendale, IN. The client works a 12 hour schedule, 2 days on 2 days off, 3 days on 3 days off. Days and Nights. After 8 Weeks you shift to Nights and then back to Days after 8 more weeks. Pay is $21.99 per hour. Best performers who have great attendance have the best chance of being hired on.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Observe safety rules and wear personal protective equipment at all times.
• Aid in the packaging, warehousing, and shipping of product.
• Accurate completion of shipping and material documents.
• WHen not palletizing the finished product bags, you will be doing some plant clean up
• Assist others with plant tasks.
• Expected to fully communicate between shifts and the other company personnel.
• Monitor and maintain all equipment and controls, request maintenance assistance when needed.
• Keep all work areas neat and orderly.
• Keep proper inventory of finished product and packaging supplies on hand.
• Be respectful of others and company property.
• Others duties assigned by supervision and management.

 
Education and/or Experience:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow procedures and instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Previous RF Scanner and Forklift experience required.
• Ability to push, pull and/or lift up to 50 lbs repetitively, climb ladders, and work on platforms. 
• 3-5 years experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Valid state driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
