Counterperson Delivery Driver

This can be a fun synergistic job for the right candidate. We constantly engage with both customers and one another, on the phone and in person. Are you enthusiastic about thinking on your feet? Planning routes on the fly? Helping find parts, and getting them out the door quickly? For the right person, this job can be downright fun (most of the time!), and your work days can fly by! But it also includes some shelf stocking and even a little cleaning. We're not a restaurant kitchen, but what customer wants to walk through a filthy store of any kind? Customers are often looking for advice, so a working knowledge of auto repair is a huge plus,. A solid ability to, at the very least identify parts, is a necessity. A thick skin doesn't hurt either, some of our customers aren't having their best day ever when they come to see us! We try to let them know that they're not alone in their repair, and we're here to help, maybe with a little levity. If you work on your own vehicles, chances are you've got your own scars and stories!

If you have;

• A valid clean driver's license and 3 years licensed driving experience (no wiggle room on this one, our insurance company checks us all regularly.) I mean, a couple points will probably be alright, but DUI's aren't going to get through for sure.
• A positive attitude, and a willingness to keep busy without constant prodding from your manager! We'll give you the tools, but you've gotta be willing to use them.
• Honesty! You'll deal with cash money. We've got a great crew, I'm kind and I'm fair. I treat them well and they reciprocate. If you're up to anything, it won't be long before it comes to light!

Part time generally means starting at minimum wage, but with experience we may be able to do a bit better. Let's talk!
